The Great Big Bead Shop Terms and Conditions

STOCK AVAILABILITY
The website has a stock control system and will not allow orders of stock which isn't on hand.  That said, a computer is only as good as the information it's given and on rare occasions we may enter a quantity incorrectly.  If this happens, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the choice of a refund or waiting for the item(s) to arrive in stock.

PAYMENT
We accept the following forms of payment:

Credit and debit cards: Cards are processed securely by SagePay.
PayPal: PayPal processing is now routed via SagePay - please select the SagePay option at checkout and then the PayPal logo.
Cheques and Postal Orders: Please make cheques and P.O.s out to The Great Big Bead Shop and send to The Great Big Bead Shop, 177 Armadale, Near Thurso, Scotland KW14 7SA. Please select the cheque option during checkout if you wish to send a postal order.

DELIVERY
All orders placed before 10.30am Monday to Friday will be sent out the same working day, subject to the stock being on hand. If part of your order is out of stock, we will dispatch available items immediately and send the remainder as they become available.
Orders are sent out 1st class or Airmail Royal Mail and delivery will normally be 1-5 working days after dispatch for the UK and 7-14 working days for overseas.

POSTAGE & PACKAGING
Orders with a value of less than £10 have a flat rate postage charge. Orders with a value of £10 or more are sent free of charge to UK customers.  Overseas orders have a flat rate charge depending on destination.
All orders are sent out in bubble-padded envelopes or cardboard boxes and will be suitably packed to minimise the risk of any damage in transit.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS
We post to most countries.  You may find that SagePay cannot process your card - if this happens, please choose SagePay and then click the PayPal logo, PayPal takes most international cards.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
Your order is covered by both the Distance Selling Regulations and the Sale Of Goods Act. You may return part or all of your order to us for a refund for any reason, all that we ask is that you inform us of your intention to do so within 7 working days of receiving it and that you return it to us in the same condition it arrived with you. We have a Freepost address for returned items - please contact us for details. We recommend that you get a Proof of Posting (free) from the Post Office as this will enable you to claim for the cost of the item should it go missing on its way back to us.

LOST IN POST
It's rare, but unfortunately items sometimes do get lost in the post. If you have not received your order within 15 working days (3 weeks) of the dispatch date, please let us know. We will send you our lost in post form for you to fill out, together with an SAE to return it to us, and on receipt of the signed form we will refund you for the missing order and start an investigation with Royal Mail into the package's whereabouts.

FOR BUSINESS CUSTOMERS
We are VAT registered (VAT Reg. No. 975 9057 66).  If you require a VAT invoice please email us on info@thegreatbigbeadshop.co.uk and we will provide one.

DATA PROTECTION
We will never pass on your information to any other party unless required to by the police or other authorities as part of a criminal investigation. Any data stored is used solely to process your transaction. We do not have any access to your credit card information, if you choose to pay by card all processing is done by either SagePay or Paypal.
